D’ SPOT RAIL PARK

Learn and enjoy wakeboarding at the city’s first tourist spot for water sports activities, D’ Spot Rail Park. It caters to beginners, advanced and professional players. The sprawling park which measures 200 meters and 50 meters wide and six obstacles, is located inside 30-hectare Jaycee Farm. It also has a beach bar, villas or overnights stay, and sports facilities such as firing and archery range for a more diverse recreation.

OUR LADY OF THE PILLAR PARISH CHURCH

Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Church Be amazed with this Hispanic Church built in 1825 beautifully designed with the ruins and preserved memories of its grandeur past, dedicated especially to the miraculous apparition of nuestra Señora del Pilar.

HACIENDA DE SAN LUIS

Visit the first eco-tourism park in Cauayan City to experience a flashback of what Cauayan City was in 1740, as well as the City Gaddang culture. Aside from the majestic view of Cagayan River majestic view of Cagayan River from the 250m long and 30ft high zip line, the hacienda is home to Museo de San Luis which features how tobaccos are made for the Manila-Acapulco galleon trade. It also showcases sculpture of St. Luis (Louis) and several masterpieces.

WALL CLIMBING, RAPPELLING, ZIPLINE

GAWAGAWAY-YAN FESTIVAL

The City Fiesta and the Feast of Our lady of the Pillar are celebrated annually on April 10-13 and October 10-12 respectively. Since its conversion into a component city on March 30, 2001, the city government started to celebrate its founding anniversary with the conduct of “Gawagaway-yan Festival’ aimed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the city. It is highlighted by street dancing, beauty contest, trade fair, cultural parade, parlor games, free concert, street drinking, band exhibition and other variety shows performed by local and Manila-based talents as well.
